the love of my life took me on our first golf outing of the year. i hadn’t swung a club since probably august or september 07. terrible really. i forgot how heavy my bag is to carry. we played nine holes and walked which was quite the workout really. i thought i would be too cold but the weather was actually perfect. usually it is very windy on the golf course but there was none to be found. we had a great time together and i hit a few good shots. i definately need a lesson or ten though. craig is amazing at this game. he is too hard on himself though and always says he played like sh*t but i had big cartoon hearts in my eyes with every shot. i love that boy soo much. we were bad afterwards and got dairy queen. this old woman grabbed my arm as i was leaving and demanded to know what my sundae had on it. strawberries and hot fudge of course!

early sunday morning i am heading over to vancouver with shannon and megan for the ABA’s!. it’s a big hair show at BC place and i am super excited about it. there is a hair competition and sweet deals on products/supplies. plus it’s a vancouver trip with girls! that is always fun in itself. i am so having bubble tea as many times as possible since i didn’t get it when we went over for the foo fighters. which reminds me…

amazing show. Dave Grohl’s smile is absolutely infectious and his on-stage energy is awesome!

shannon and i had another at-home hair coloring evening. we even included her four-year-old who is my current hero. we bleached out her bangs with the intention of dying them pink after but she wanted to keep the yellow ‘banana’ color instead. my hair went bright orange-red and we bleached shannons roots. we were going to put some more black in her hair but some of it started falling out from the bleach being on too long and she freaked a bit. it turned out okay in the end though.

i am off to work today at 3:30 but first i must get ready to go to van as i won’t be home until late. what to wear….
